Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 25, 2026

1. Introduction

LogicZ ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data handling practices and your privacy rights regarding our educational mathematics application and website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in several ways:

  1. Account Information: Name, email address, age (for children), and parent/guardian contact information when creating an account.
  2. Learning Data: Your progress, scores, time spent on activities, and answers to educational questions.
  3. Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version.
  4. Advertising Identifiers: Where applicable and permitted by the user's device settings, mobile advertising identifiers such as Apple's IDFA (iOS) and the Google Advertising ID (Android), used by our analytics and advertising partners.
  5. Usage Analytics: How you interact with the app to improve our services.
  6. In-App Events: We log specific events to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience, including:
    • Complete registration for the parent
    • View content
    • Achieve level
    • Unlock achievement
    • Purchase

3. Data Protection for Children

LogicZ takes child safety seriously. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. We do not collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. We do not use children's data for marketing purposes.

Where children's event data is processed by third-party SDKs (such as the Meta SDK), we configure those SDKs in a restricted mode — for example, Meta's Limited Data Use (LDU) / restricted data processing — so that children's event data is not used for personalized advertising, audience building, or other targeting purposes.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  1. Provide and improve the LogicZ application and services
  2. Personalize learning experiences and track educational progress
  3. Send educational updates and notifications (with parental consent)
  4. Ensure security and prevent fraud
  5. Measure app performance and the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, through limited third-party SDKs as described in Section 6
  6. Comply with legal obligations

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  1. Required by law or legal process
  2. Necessary to protect our rights and safety
  3. With trusted service providers who help us operate the app (under strict confidentiality agreements)
  4. With analytics and advertising service providers (as described in Section 6) for the limited purposes of measuring app performance, attributing installs, and optimizing our own marketing

6. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising Partners

LogicZ integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs) that help us measure app performance, attribute installs, and optimize our advertising campaigns. Our primary advertising and measurement partner is Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta" / Facebook).

Through the Meta SDK, we may share the following event signals with Meta:

  1. Complete registration (parent account creation)
  2. View content
  3. Achieve level
  4. Unlock achievement
  5. Purchase

This data may be associated with a mobile advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or Google Advertising ID on Android) where the user has provided the necessary device-level consent. Meta uses this information for attribution, conversion measurement, and (for eligible users only) advertising optimization, subject to Meta's own privacy practices. You can review Meta's data policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

Your controls:

  1. iOS: Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt lets you allow or deny tracking. If you deny, your advertising identifier will not be shared with Meta.
  2. Android: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising in your device's Google settings.
  3. Children: As described in Section 3, event data from users we identify as children is processed under Meta's restricted data processing mode and is not used for personalized advertising or audience targeting.

7. Data Security

LogicZ implements industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

8. Data Retention

We retain user data as long as necessary to provide services and fulfill legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

9. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

  1. Access your personal information
  2. Request correction of inaccurate data
  3. Request deletion of your data
  4. Opt-out of marketing communications
  5. Withdraw consent for data processing

10. Parental Controls

Parents and guardians can review, request deletion, or restrict the collection of their child's information at any time. Please contact us at privacy@logicz.app with your request.

11. Third-Party Links

LogicZ may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of LogicZ indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
